Artist Nathaniel Rackowe and choreographer Angela Woodhouse collaborate once again after last years project; (Un)touched. Working with dancers Martina Conti and Alice Labant, (De)figured will be the result of an intense week of experiments and development in White City Place.
A spacial invasion of materials associated with urban transformation will be navigated by the performers, as they inhabit, and it in turn, inhibits. The installation dictates movement, but itself becomes transformable, in a way we can only fantasise that cities might do.
This project is supported by Elephant Magazine, as part of their ongoing pop-up events and activities in and around White City this summer ahead the opening of Elephant West, their brand-new art project space.
